NutraRich Mature Compost can be used for all home garden applications including vegetables, lawn, roses and native gardens. NutraRich products contain up to 60% humus making them ideal for WA soils.
Humus is often described as the 'life-force' of the soil. It is a mixture of compounds and complex chemicals of plant, animal and microbial origin, which have many functions and benefits in the soil. The humus in mature compost encourages the formation of good soil structure. It is an excellent source of plant nutrients as the humus in mature compost has many active sites binding to ions (cations) of plant nutrients.
Nutrients within this mature compost are released slowly, drawn by the plant itself when needed. The compost is produced from clean agricultural waste that has been processed into fully matured compost.
Mature Compost creates an optimal environment for sustained, strong plant growth by combining the benefits of humus rich organic matter with Nitrogen (N), Phosphate (P), Potassium (K) and trace elements all in one natural product.

With over five generations of farming history within their family, Barry and Jason Chittleborough established NutraRich in 2005. Production is based in Brookton, Western Australia where waste is sourced from the local agricultural community and through waste streams throughout regional Western Australia. Additionally, Nutrarich recycles up to 300,000 household waste in Perth via the Southern Metropolitan Regional Council (SMRC). NutraRich endeavours to source materials that complement the intended compost ‘end’ product while simultaneously ensuring logistic costs are kept to a minimum.

I purchased and set up my fly trap in Sept/Spring for my lime tree. Within a few hours of setting it up, fruit flies started lingering around it. When I checked on it the next day (<24h) there were already a few trapped in the liquid. Very effective product - looks like it will be handy in managing fruit flies in my garden this year.
