We're proud to host a diverse range of events and workshops about composting, growing food and living sustainably in Perth. If your organisation, workplace or school needs a workshop on these themes, please get in touch.

Composting Workshops

Come along to our Perth composting workshop and learn about the available options to keep food scraps and all other home organic waste out of landfill bins. 
All unique environments and living situations are covered to be able to find the composting system that works for you.  This course is applicable to all homes, schools and businesses.

Hand Painted Bee Rocks. Pollinator Party October 2024 Join us for an immersive, creative and hands-on workshop, where little folk will learn all about the important role pollinators play in our environment, and how to create a welcome space for them at home, before jumping in and having heaps of fun as we:

Paint a pot and fill it with pollinator attracting flowers

Create an insect hotel from recycled materials

Paint an insect rock to get your garden started

Finish off with a delicious morning tea
Clay Ladybug in the Grass. For the Love of Ladybirds September 2024

Join us for an immersive, creative and hands-on workshop, where little folk will learn all about the lifecycle of a ladybird and the important role they play in our environment, before jumping in and having heaps of fun as we:

  • Craft a ladybird lifecycle plate from natural materials

  • Create and paint an air-dry clay ladybird 

  • Receive a pot of *live* ladybird eggs from our friends at Marvellous Minibeasts, and learn how to hatch them when you get home

  • Finish off with a delicious morning tea

Cupcakes and Candles Workshop, Urban Revolution Candles and Cupcakes

APRIL 2024

We'll make our own playdough, turn it into cupcakes, decorate them and then roll our own bee's wax candles to pop on top, followed by a light morning tea. All materials are supplied and kiddo's will get take home their creations to continue the fun! 🧁

Shani Graham, author of amazing kids book “Lady Marmalade” 🐐 will be doing an exclusive reading of her book for our little friends. We'll follow it up by making some paper pots and adding some of Lady Marmalade's favourite foods from the book like carrots, lettuce and more! Finished off with a light morning tea, you'll get to take your seedlings home to watch them grow 🥕 There's also an option to upgrade your ticket to include a signed copy of the book 📖
FREE In-Store Glitter Application ✨ APRIL 2024 Local 5yr old "Fairy Myla" will be popping in store between 9am-11am, to share her eco-glitter with fellow sparkle lovers! For the cost of a high five 💁‍♀️ Myla will apply a helping of brilliantly sparkly, biodegradable glitter to your face or arm so you can sparkle your way through the weekend!
