Foraged Florals

Get into the holiday spirit and unleash your creativity during an evening of flower arranging to create a full or half decorated Christmas wreath depending on your personal style preference. You'll use locally foraged and sourced foliage and flowers, fruits, and spices to create a festive Christmas wreath for your door or table, or give as a heartfelt gift. Guided by our experienced florist, you'll learn techniques to make a sustainable and memorable piece, all while sipping on summer drinks and snacking on a delicious grazing board under the stars. Plus, chat with resident Permaculturalist Bec to get a glimpse into the world of Urban Permaculture and get tips for starting your own Permaculture journey.

Workshop Highlights:

• Create your own half or full festive wreath from locally grown and foraged flowers and foliage. Add some seasonal scents with some dried fruits and whole spices and finish your masterpiece off with some beautiful ribbon.
  
  
• Graze the night away with boards of tasty cheeses, local honey, fruit, chocolates and more
  
  
• Enjoy a selection of local wines, bubbles and non-alcoholic beverages
  
  
• Sit back, relax and enjoy a balmy summer night under festoon lighting in our dedicated permaculture garden space

All materials including the wreath base, foliage and ribbon are supplied and your creations are yours to take home and enjoy. Due to the hands-on nature of the event, spots are strictly limited. 

We will also have a small selection of some of our favourite gifts from the shop available for purchase on the evening for any last minute Christmas shopping.

This event takes place at our private Urban Permaculture Garden space in Kensington. Exact address supplied after booking.
