The fibre brush is made with stiff Tampico fibres that chiefly come from Agave and Yucca plants. This is a long lasting soft to medium fibre that is resistant to water, heat, acid and alkali.
The union brush has a stiffer fibre that is made by the combination of two different plant fibres - usually Tampico and Palmyra (palm tree) - to create the extra stiff union medium fibre bristles.
