Ryset tree sealant is a non-toxic, solvent-free, water based bitumen sealant for protecting tree wounds and grafts. Made from a unique blend of rubber latex and bitumen which has superior elasticity and water resistance.

It forms a tough, flexible, waterproof and UV-stable film, which resists moisture penetration, bacteria growth and disease. 

Ryset Tree Sealant is ideal for sealing plant grafts, protecting pruning wounds and filling/sealing cracks and wounds in trees.

How to Use Ryset Tree Sealant

• Apply tree sealant with a brush or a trowel direct from the container.
• Apply tree sealant in a thick generous coat covering the entire surface of the pruning cut.
• Tree sealant should be applied as soon as possible after pruning.
• When filling cracks or old wounds with tree sealant, remove any decay or loose bark with a pruning knife first.
• Avoid applying tree sealant in very cold or wet weather conditions.
• Wash up tools in water while in a wet state.
