Learn all about Companion Planting and Plant Guild Design, and how it can benefit your garden.
Understand the principles of companion planting and plant guilds so you can enjoy a garden that has:
- Increased yield, nutrients and flavour of edible plants
- Reduced plant loss by destructive pests and diseases naturally
- Attracts diverse beneficial insects wildlife with your plant choices
- Increases soil structure, nutrients and soil life to sustain healthy living soil
- Improves general plant and garden health
We will guide you through the theories behind companion planting, as well as give hands on experience in guild design so you are equipped to apply these methods in your own garden.
We will also have a little pop up shop on the day with seeds and other gardening essentials. $10 credit will be given against purchases over $50 on the day to spend at the pop up, or at our retail store in Victoria Park.
A homemade morning tea will also be provided with tea and coffee so you can sip and learn while making new gardening friends!
