The unique combination of six minerals in this blend aids in retaining nutrients through a process called cation exchange. Clay particles are negatively charged and can naturally hold onto positively charged particles, such as nitrogen and potassium, which are essential for plant growth. This prevents leaching of nutrients into waterways, reducing pollution and promoting healthier wetlands. Sand Remedy also includes trace elements and beneficial microbes to support optimal growing conditions for plants. These microbes play a vital role in making nutrients available to plants and maintaining moisture in the root zone.
Elements provided by Sand Remedy include: Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium, Calcium, Carbon, Magnesium, Sulphur, Silicon, Iron, Coppper, Zinc, Manganese, Boron, Cobalt, Molybdenum and Selenium in a balanced, slow release form.

In a New Garden - For best results, measure the area and divide it into 1m2 x 1m2 sections before applying Sand Remedy. Sprinkle the recommended amount onto the soil and lightly mix it to a depth of 10cm using a shovel, garden fork, hoe, or mattock. Water thoroughly and observe the immediate effects of Sand Remedy. If desired, repeat the process for optimal results.
In Existing Gardens - Gently move mulch to one side and sprinkle Sand Remedy onto the top of the soil. Use a small trowel, shovel, or fork to lightly turn the Sand Remedy into the top 10cm of soil, being careful not to disrupt plants or disturb roots. The goal is to thoroughly incorporate the Sand Remedy into the top layer of soil. After incorporating, water the area thoroughly and you'll see the Sand Remedy start to work immediately. If needed, repeat the process. Once the soil is well saturated, replace the mulch to help retain moisture.
