Cassies Clay:

Certified Organic Cassies Clay is perfect for improving sandy, water repelling soils. The amount of Clay to use depends greatly on the condition of your soil, and what you're going to be growing. If you are growing food, it is imperative that your soil has good water holding capability so your nutrients are retained and not being washed away, which makes Cassies Clay ideal for growing food.

How to Use Cassies Clay Mix:

1. Improve the top 10 -15cms of soil, using between 5 - 10kgs of Cassie's Clay per square metre. Start with a smaller amount and add more if required.
2. Sprinkle the clay over the soil surface and cultivate the Clay into the dry soil with a spade or hoe. 
3. Wet down the soil - you should see the difference in wettability straight away. 
4. You may want to incorporate some Mature Compost, biochar and/or other soil improvers into the soil at the same time.
5. Make sure to cover your soil with a good straw mulch to help retain moisture and promote a healthy, living soil.
