New Plantings, Seeds & Transplants: Add a sprinkling of biochar directly into the planting hole or seed furrows. Can also apply as a light seed dressing. 

3. Water & Activate:After application, water thoroughly to help the biochar integrate with the soil and activate microbial activity.
