Recipe: Mulberry Sorbet

  • 1 min read

If you are lucky enough to have a Mulberry tree in your backyard then this is a super simple recipe to make use of the delicious mulberries (before the birds get to them!). The anise myrtle is optional but it gives the sorbet a wonderful depth of flavour with an Aussie bush tucker twist!

Mulberry sorbet in a glass bowl

Mulberry Sorbet Ingredients

500g frozen mulberries
80g maple syrup
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tsp anise myrtle (optional)
1 egg white

Mulberry Sorbet Method

Blitz together in a Thermomix or food processor until smooth and creamy. Simple! The mulberry sorbet is ready to eat straight away or will store in the freezer in an airtight container.
